Made In Plymouth is an arts magazine which showcases the independent, quirky and ambitious cultural projects happening across the city of Plymouth. I founded and designed Made In Plymouth to provide a space for art projects to get themselves seen, but also as a place for emerging writing talent to pen reviews and articles.

Issue 1 was a big event, and I’m pleased with the look and layout of the magazine. As much space as possible is devoted to images and text, with white space being cut where possible. This meant we could increase our word count for articles, and also limit the total number of pages to 24 to keep costs low.

I created the brand identity for Made In Plymouth, which has proved to be a well-recognised and popular magazine in Plymouth’s arts landscape. The quarterly magazine has a readership of 8,000 per print issue. We also have over 3,000 monthly unique visitors to it’s website.
